What is Teller?

Teller turns your personal photos into AI-generated stories. You choose photos, name your characters, pick a genre, and get a story you can save and read anytime.

How long are the stories?

Teller short stories are about a 3 minute read, or 700-1500 words.

Are the stories enjoyable?

That's subjective. But what we can guarantee is that they're not generic AI stories. We've achieved a higher quality through the genre selection, which constrains the AI to a writing style similar to famous writing styles of each genre. That quality is heightened by the photos you upload, as well as the optional character names and the "Editor's note," which help personalize the story.

Privacy & Your Photos

What happens to my photos when I upload them?

Your photos are sent securely to our server, where they're analyzed by Claude, Anthropic's AI, to generate your story. Once your story is created, the text and layout are saved to your account and your photos are stored securely so your story can be displayed inside Teller. Your photos are never shared with third parties or used for any purpose other than creating your stories, and we don't use your images to train public AI models or for advertising. Does Teller access my entire camera roll?

No. Teller only accesses the specific photos you select for a story.

Account

Do I need an account to use Teller?

You need to create a free account to create stories, so we can save them for you across your devices. After 3 stories, you'll be asked to pay a small subscription fee to help us pay for Claude's service.

When you're ready, you can sign up with email or use Sign in with Apple or Google where available.

Can I delete my stories or my account?

Yes. You can remove saved stories from the app at any time. You can also delete your account at any time, which permanently removes your account, saved stories, and associated data. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle data removal.
